Somewhere Down the Lachlan

Somewhere Down the Lachlan Sculpture project has been gathering momentum with a partnership between Forbes Shire Council, Forbes Arts Society, Grazing Down the Lachlan and the Forbes Services Memorial Club.

We have an annual $20000 Acquisition Prize. New sculptures will be installed in the CBD, positioned around the lake and ultimately installed on the stock route along the Lachlan River between Forbes and Condobolin.

This will be a ultimately be a world-class sculpture trail, in the league of Sculpture by the Sea, but it will be permanent. It will be of the magnitude that international travelers will visit our major cities and beaches and then make an effort to come out west, visit the Dubbo Zoo and then wend their way to see our Sculpture.

This will be for the good for all central western NSW

Now all we need is your support. Support both financially and in kind.

Perhaps you are a solicitor, an accountant or a handy administrator. Perhaps you are in the steel or concreting industry, a tradesperson or a farmer with a big truck? Perhaps you have a contact who is a sculptor. Spread the word!
There are so many areas in which you can help.

We need your enthusiasm,
passion and positive attitude to help get over all the hurdles...
to find the solutions, not the problems. Lets begin...
